A Brief History about Our Agar Industry
PT. Dunia Bintang Walet started its agar powder packaging from
imported agar powder in 1970 under Swallow Globe Brand in Jakarta,
Indonesia. At that time, product packing had been done traditionally
to fill the packaging by using spoon and weighing each pack before
sealing the packaging. Nevertheless, our concern in hygienic and
quality of our product has always been our first priority in the
production.
As the market demand for Swallow Globe Brand agar-agar powder
increase. Swallow Globe Brand has become the leading brand in
the market, using machines to do the packing are more demanding than
ever. New labels of our product line such as Star Swallow,
Sun Swallow and Grass Swallow were also introduced to meet
different consumer demand.
In 1991 new company was setup to produced agar-agar powder using
latest technology from Japan to supply our escalating need for agar
powder. New products development also has been done with the largest
agar manufacturer in Japan to fulfill the mission of our company.
Today, Swallow Globe is one of the largest & with highest
quality agar product producer in the world with marketing offices
across Asia, Australia, Europe & North America. The product line that
have been developed including Agar-agar powder to produce pudding,
Ready to eat agar-agar pudding at cup, Agar-agar Juice, Agar-agar
Instant powder and Agar-agar Instant 4 in 1 hot drinks.
